The Mayor’s Office of Gay, Le***an, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Affairs provides constituent services and information to the GLBT communities through community outreach, public education activities and advises the Mayor and the DC Government on the needs of the GLBT residents of the District of Columbia through technical assistance and training.

For 20 years, the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs has stood with our community — protecting rights, expanding services, and making sure every LGBTQIA+ resident feels seen, valued, and supported.

This Pride Month, we reflect on that journey. From raising the Pride Flag with Mayor Muriel Bowser to working alongside advocates and city agencies, our commitment has always been the same: to build a DC where every LGBTQIA+ resident can thrive.

Here’s to 20 years of service — and to the work we will continue together. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
