Today I’m thinking about my own father. I don’t ever remember him speaking an unkind word about another person. He had a way of making whoever he was talking to feel like the most important person in the world. I’m grateful for his example, and for all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who do their best to love, lift, and strengthen those around them. Happy Father’s Day.
