Last night, our Summer 2026 Graduate Archer Fellows, members of the AFAA Washington, D.C. Chapter, and Archer Center staff gathered for a New Fellow Mixer, followed by a trip to Nationals Park for the annual Congressional Baseball Game. This beloved charity event, played by members of the U.S. Congress, has been a time-honored tradition since 1909. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Our congratulations to Fall 2025 Archer Fellow Andrea Maldonado on her many accomplishments, including her admission to the Texas Pipeline Program at The University of Texas School of Law!

Congratulations to Andrea Maldonado on her graduation and outstanding achievements!

Andrea has distinguished herself as a remarkable student leader, scholar, and aspiring legal professional. As a Pre-Law Honors Student majoring in Political Science and Economics at UTRGV, she has demonstrated exceptional dedication to academic excellence, leadership, and public service. Andrea also served as an Archer Fellow in Washington, D.C., as an intern for the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators (NHCSL). Her recognition as the 2023–2024 Student Leader of the Year reflects her commitment to making a meaningful impact both inside and outside the classroom. Andrea was admitted into the Texas Pipeline Program of the University of Texas School of Law for next year. We are incredibly proud of Andrea’s accomplishments and excited to see all that she will achieve in the future. Wishing her continued success in law school and beyond!
