One of our amazing LPTM Saturday Academy program participants! This young brother started at Life Pieces as a toddler who loved Spiderman and trains - now he's a senior in high school about to go to college for engineering, as well as a Student Representative on the DC State Board of Education!

We are so proud of Brother Issa, and we know he will be soaring to incredible heights.

This is an LPTM Apprentice 12 years ago, back when he was in our youngest class: Treehouse!

Now he's a Junior Mentor working with little Apprentices who are just as small as he once was. He's about to graduate from high school - with a full ride to college! We are so proud of you, Brother Marquay!

Engaging in your creative abilities is such a source of joy! We're so grateful that our LPTM Apprentices got to experience the thrill of sculpture again in their second session with Glen Echo Pottery volunteers. This time around, they applied colored glaze to the pieces they had sculpted during their previous session!
