🚨 Emergency responders be aware of a hidden aircraft hazard.

Some aircraft are equipped with ballistic parachute recovery systems (BPRS) that use a rocket to deploy a parachute. When these systems remain undeployed after an accident, they can present risks to those working on scene.

🚨New Safety Alert for School Districts from the NTSB Office of Highway Safety:

Chartering a bus for students? Don't just ask about cost and availability.
Ask:
✅ Does every seat have a lap/shoulder belt?
✅ Does the company have a strong safety record?
✅ Will the driver provide a safety briefing?

These questions can help protect students before the wheels ever start rolling.

The new Safety Alert provides school districts with a checklist for safety assurances when selecting safe transport for school-related activities.

Every transportation decision is a student safety decision.
