Our aim is to ensure that the commentary around the 2022 midterms is clear as to why Democrats over-performed expectations— including resonant messaging like the freedom framework, year-round strategies largely led by leaders of color that targeted young voters, new voters, and voters in the multiracial coalition, and the bold, persuasive progressive candidates who excited turnout.
