This Pride Month, Austria reaffirms that human rights are universal and apply equally to all people, everywhere. 🏳️🌈
Everyone deserves to live freely, safely, and with dignity, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Yet around the world, many LGBTIQ+ people continue to face discrimination, harassment, violence, and hate speech—both online and offline.
We stand with those working to advance equality, diversity, and inclusion, and we recognize the vital contributions of human rights defenders and civil society organizations who support and protect the rights of LGBTIQ+ communities.
This month and throughout the year, we celebrate Pride and reaffirm our commitment to a world where everyone can live openly, authentically, and free from fear.

🎭🎶 Orlando Trip | Performing Arts Concert by Fox on Ice | June 18, 2026 🎭🎶
Join the Austrian Cultural Forum Washington for ORLANDO TRIP, a performing arts concert by Vienna-based collective Fox On Ice. The show reimagines the mythical character Orlando through music, literature, spoken performance, film, and visual storytelling. Paying tribute to the great European minds Ludovico Ariosto and Virginia Woolf, the production explores fluidity, transformation, and the crossing of borders through a contemporary European lens 🎵 📚🎬
Part concert, part spoken performance, part cinematic experience, ORLANDO TRIP unfolds through twelve songs, intermezzi, and videos that trace the journey of Orlando — a knight, traveler, and ambassador, who crosses the seas several times and finally returns as a masterful and nomadic conqueror of rigid borders. Seamlessly blending stage and film, music and literature, Fox On Ice creates an immersive world where humans and landscapes, masculinity and femininity, reality and myth continuously transform into one another 🌍✨
