As we gather for the Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time, our readings remind us that fear is a natural part of life, yet we are never alone. In the Gospel, Jesus tells His disciples, “Do not be afraid.” These words speak directly to our hearts amid the uncertainties and challenges we face each day. We are reminded that God’s loving providence watches over us and that our faith gives us the courage to live as witnesses to His truth and mercy.
This weekend, we also celebrate Father’s Day. We give thanks for all fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, and the many men who serve as mentors and role models in our lives. May God bless them with wisdom, strength, patience, and joy as they reflect the faithful love of our Heavenly Father.
Pax tecum,
Msgr. Butler

***UPDATE TO THE SCHEDULE***
NO Daily Mass Tuesday, 16 June and Friday, 19 June. Thank you for understanding.
06/14/2026
As we gather for the Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time, we hear once again the compassionate heart of Jesus, who looks upon the crowds and is moved with pity for them. In the Gospel, the Lord not only sees the needs of His people but also sends His disciples forth to continue His mission of healing, mercy, and hope. Today, that same call is extended to each of us as members of His Church.
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus draw us ever closer to Himself and strengthen us to be faithful witnesses of His love wherever we are called to serve. “Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in your Love for me.”

ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE ALTAR SERVERS!
We will start training for anyone interested in being a server in the next couple of weeks. Altar servers need to have received their First Holy Communion and be at least in the 4th grade next school year. Being an altar server provides the opportunity to develop a deeper appreciation for the Mass, a valuable service to the St. Michael Community and an opportunity to get to know
some of the youth of our community. We will have an informational meeting for parents and prospective servers on Sunday, 14 June at 1015 in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Joe Munter.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY CLOW (Children's Liturgy of the Word) is an important parish ministry for our younger members. As we approach PCS season, we are in need of more volunteers to keep this ministry
going. When I first started volunteering with CLOW, I didn't know what to expect and I was blessed with the opportunity to shadow another volunteer before I stepped up to lead. I am happy to offer the same over the summer. Please prayerfully consider if this is an area God is calling you to invest in. If it is, please let me
know what weeks are best for you and we'll get signed up together. ~Carrie Hawkins~
