This week I toured Goshen Township’s new Fire Station 18 with Chief Edward Myers.

The township’s main fire station was heavily damaged by a tornado in July of 2022, and their new facility just opened this past May. The station has numerous upgrades that will help firefighters and EMS personnel better serve our community.

We are so grateful for the incredible first responders that work tirelessly to keep our communities safe!

Venetian Gardens in Goshen Township is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, and it was great stopping by and talking with care providers, staff, and residents.

This facility provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term nursing care, memory care, and hospice services for Ohioans in need of intensive care.

I appreciated hearing from their leadership team about the needs they’re seeing, and I will continue advocating in Congress to ensure every Ohioan has access to the critical healthcare they depend on.

It was an honor joining The Glenny Glass Company in Milford to celebrate their 175th anniversary!

Founded in 1851, this company is recognized as the oldest continuously operating flat-glass fabricator in the United States. I had the pleasure of presenting owner Braxton Smith and his twin sons, Braxton II and Joseph, with a Congressional Commendation congratulating them on this milestone.

Small business and the hardworking families who run them are what power our local economies. In Congress, I will continue advocating for common sense policies that allow our local companies to do what they do best — business!

Charity and I had a great time at the UFC fight at the White House last night. The fights were amazing and the atmosphere was electric. Thank you, Mr. President!

The American flag is a symbol of the freedom, honor, and opportunity duly established through the principles of our founders and earned by the sacrifices of generations of American heroes.

On Flag Day, we salute the Stars and Stripes, along with the servicemembers who have defended the precious homeland it represents.

Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

If you can’t meet federal or state eligibility standards, you shouldn’t be driving an 80,000-pound commercial vehicle on American roads.
