Retirees and beneficiaries who receive a paper benefit check: Your check looks different now. The State Controller’s Office changed the design and the type of paper used. It’s now printed on a thinner sheet and no longer has a perforated edge. Please look for it carefully so you don’t throw it away by mistake. https://www.calstrs.com/calstrs-pay-dates
