We’re excited to see the long-awaited Lt. Michael Davidson Playground nearly ready to open. Michael grew up right across the street and played here as a child. Years later, he would go on to serve our city as a firefighter and hero who gave his life in the line of duty. It’s deeply meaningful that generations of children will now play in a space that carries his name and honors his legacy. ❤️🚒 Friends of Michael Davidson Playground New York City Fire Department (FDNY)Council Member Julie Won
