๐ง MEK TIME FOR WATER. ๐ง
As we get older, our bodies may not signal thirst as strongly as they once did. That means it's important to drink water throughout the dayโeven when you don't feel thirsty.
Staying hydrated can help support healthy body function, maintain energy levels, and reduce the risk of dehydration, especially during the warmer summer months.
A simple glass of water can make a big difference.
Whether you're relaxing at home, spending time with family, or enjoying the beautiful Virgin Islands weather, remember:
๐ Don't wait until you're thirsty.
๐ Drink water throughout the day.
๐ Make hydration part of your daily routine.
**Stay cool. Stay healthy. Stay hydrated.**

๐ง MEK TIME FOR WATER. ๐ง
The VI Department of Health is reminding you that the summer heat is here, and higher temperatures can increase your risk of dehydration โ especially when you're working, exercising, or spending time outdoors.
This week, we're kicking off our "Mek Time for Water" campaign with a simple reminder: The Water Cooler Has One Job. Drink Water.
Staying hydrated helps your body regulate temperature, maintain energy, and support overall health. So,
โ
Keep a water bottle nearby.
โ
Drink water throughout the day.
โ
Don't wait until you're thirsty.
Stay cool. Stay healthy. Stay hydrated.
