National HIV Testing Day (NHTD), observed on June 27, is a day to encourage people to get tested for HIV, know their status, and get linked to care and treatment.

Join The Collective Collaboration and Frederiksted Health Care, Inc. for our Dignity for Humanity Solar Backpack Giveaway at our Frederiksted location on Friday, June 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in observance of National HIV/AIDS Testing Day.

Community members are welcome! Come out and take advantage of the free biometrics screening, HIV testing and resources available.

🎁 Participants who complete both the biometric screening and HIV test will receive an incentive while supplies last.

*Backpacks are only for eligible unhoused participants*

Our outreach doesn't stop at events!

In addition to the many activities we've participated in this month, our team has been out in the community restocking our condom dispensers to help ensure free condoms remain accessible to those who need them.

If you know of a distribution site that is running low or is completely empty, please let us know. We'll be happy to stop by and restock

The month of June has been keeping Dscp St Croix at Frederiksted Health Care, Inc. busy, and we wouldn't have it any other way 🙌. So far, we've had the pleasure of connecting with our community through several amazing outreach events, including:

* WAPA's Stress Free Wellness and Health Fair
* A s*x education class to teens at the Air National Guard
* Virgin Islands Department of Health Wellness Fair

The Division of Social and Community Programs at Frederiksted Health Care team attended the “Facilitate with Impact” and “Talk that Transforms” training that was held in collaboration with CAI (Cicatelli Associates Inc.) in St. Thomas, USVI.
This impactful training focused on strengthening the HIV Prevention Workforce through engaging workshops, motivational interviewing tools, and strategies to better support clients with HIV prevention, treatment, and care.
Thank you to CAI and all facilitators for an informative and empowering experience!

Once again, the Sunset Movie Night was a success! Every individual in attendance truly enjoyed themselves, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter, relaxation, and a sense of community.
Seeing everyone come together, share smiles, and simply enjoy the moment reminds us why these events are so important.
