๐ JROTC JCLC 2026 Highlights
This week, our St. Croix Central High School JROTC Cadets participated in exciting and challenging activities during the Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC)!
Cadets engaged in hands-on training and team-building experiences, including:
๐ค Robotics Training โ Developing problem-solving, innovation, and technical skills.
๐งญ Map Reading โ Strengthening navigation, critical thinking, and leadership abilities.
๐ฃ Kayaking โ Building confidence, teamwork, and resilience while enjoying the outdoors.
These activities provided our Cadets with valuable opportunities to enhance their leadership skills, foster camaraderie, and challenge themselves in new environments.
A special thank you to Col. Francis and 1SG Charles for their outstanding instruction, mentorship, and dedication to our Cadets throughout the JCLC experience. Your leadership and commitment continue to inspire and shape the next generation of leaders.

๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฃ FREE Summer learning opportunities offered by The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History! ๐๐บ๐๐๐
Open to all high school students in grades 9โ12, students will explore American history in 6 one-hour-long classes via Zoom. Registration is open for the following courses:
๐AP African American Studies: An Overview
๐AP United States Government and Politics: An Overview
๐AP United States History: Hidden Figures
***Although these AP courses are NOT offered at St. Croix Central High School, students are encouraged to explore enrichment opportunities and sign up with The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History to learn about all of their educational programs, including essay-writing contests, like the David McCullough Essay Prizes Contest:
