As a follow-up to the meeting in Vienna between Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Chancellor Christian Stocker, Ambassador Georg Schnetzer met with Kosovo’s Chief Negotiator with the EU 🇪🇺, Jeton Zulfaj.

Discussions focused on the latest developments in Kosovo’s EU integration process, the implementation of the Growth Plan and the continued cooperation between our two countries.

The Ambassador once again reaffirmed Austria’s 🇦🇹 strong support for Kosovo’s 🇽🇰 European path while underlining the importance of institutional stability.

A very constructive exchange with the representatives of the Organization of Kosovo Austrian Alumni (OKAA) 👨‍🎓👩‍🎓

Ambassador Georg Schnetzer was pleased to hear about their work in connecting alumni and promoting academic cooperation between Kosovo 🇽🇰 and Austria 🇦🇹. Alumni networks play an important role in fostering people-to-people connections and advancing the cooperation between our two countries.

The Austrian Embassy looks forward to continued cooperation with OKAA and to supporting initiatives that promote educational exchange.

OKAA Head of the Board, Jeton Mehmeti, together with Board Members Albana Veseli and Leonita Mazrekaj, met with the Austrian Ambassador to Kosovo, H.E. Georg Schnetzer.

During the meeting, the representatives of the Organization of Kosovo Austrian Alumni (OKAA) informed the Ambassador about the organization’s ongoing activities and future plans aimed at strengthening academic, educational, and research cooperation between Kosovo and Austria.

Ambassador Schnetzer welcomed OKAA’s efforts and reaffirmed the Embassy’s openness to cooperate with the organization in advancing its mission. He expressed the Embassy’s willingness to participate in future OKAA events, support small-scale activities and receptions, and help promote the organization and its work among relevant stakeholders.

The meeting also highlighted the important role that alumni networks play in strengthening educational, scientific, and cultural ties between Kosovo and Austria.

OKAA appreciates the Embassy’s support and looks forward to continued cooperation between Kosovo and Austria.

Ambasadori Schnetzer mirëpriti përpjekjet e OKAA-së dhe rikonfirmoi gatishmërinë e Ambasadës për të bashkëpunuar me organizatën në avancimin e misionit të saj. Ai shprehu gatishmërinë e Ambasadës për të marrë pjesë në aktivitetet e ardhshme të OKAA-së, për të mbështetur aktivitete në shkallë të vogla, si dhe për të ndihmuar në promovimin e organizatës dhe punës së saj tek hisedarët.

Takimi gjithashtu vuri në pah rolin e rëndësishëm që rrjetet e alumni-ve luajnë në zhvillimin e e mëtejmë arsimor, shkencor dhe kulturor ndërmjet Kosovës dhe Austrisë.

OKAA e vlerëson mbështetjen e Ambasadës dhe mirëpret vazhdimin e bashkëpunimit ndërmjet Kosovës dhe Austrisë.
