This fairytale castle, a fine example of Scottish Baronial architecture, seems to have grown naturally out of the rolling hills. The great tower stands just as it did when completed in 1626. Limited places on tours - may be filled during busy times.

Visit Alford Manor House ,a grade 2* thatched Manor House built in 1611. With its beautiful walled garden, tearooms, exhibitions , Museum of Rural Life and programme of events. It is available to hire for Weddings ,Funeral teas, private functions etc.
