Employers recognition!! We would not be able to do what we do without employers allowing their staff to attend incidents during their working hours. Today we thank Alford Coal Supplies and Safelincs Fire & Safety for continuing to release employees at the call of an alerter, at any time! The community thanks you 🙂

🔥 Bonfires are not a free pass to burn waste.

Only clean, dry, untreated wood, leaves, cardboard, or paper should be burned during traditional cultural events or small campfires.

❌ Never burn:
• Plastics
• Tyres
• Oils
• Treated wood
• Commercial waste

If in doubt, don’t burn it.

🏢 Businesses have a responsibility to dispose of waste safely and legally.

Office waste, construction materials, landscaping waste, farm plastics, and industrial waste should always be managed by registered waste carriers or approved waste sites.

Responsible waste management protects your staff, customers, and local environment.

So after an incident where we have used our trucks water tank, we like to refill immediately just in case another incident comes our way. Conveniently for us today, our nearest usable water hydrant was right outside Farmer Browns Ice cream in Huttoft. Obviously we had to indulge.

What made the ice cream taste even better was that Darren (Farmer Brown) said ‘these are on me’

Thank you so much Farmer Brown. It was much appreciated!
